In this issue i shall deal only with the trip, to Ottawa and a few brief impressions attendant on the visit of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip and their part in the his- ioric opening ceremonies which were the focal point of their short visit.

Travelling to the capital at this time of the year was a real pleasure. In the first real holiday my wife and I have had together in many busy years. travelling through our beautiful country- side in this autumn season was indeed a treat for the eyes. No section of th! trip was more beautiful than our own island countryside. and one left it with a tinge of regret. However. leav- ing one's native province re- mains as one of our duties and many of us will be looking for- ward to returning to home and family within a couple of months.

On the train we were interest- ed in seeing Mr. Glen Morrlssey and Wendell Jenkins on their way to the Canadian Plowing Pb ' ”, matches at Sim- coe. Ontario.
