After di playing firmness through- out the early part. of yesterday's session. the market turned grad- ually stronger during the after- 110011 and closed with considerable buoyancy showing in the Indus- trial and Rail groups.

There was some sympathetic firming up of the Utilities but this was not xigniflcant among the In- dmtrials. The strength in the Steels was outstanding but the cop- P61‘ group showed better than aver- age action early in the day and shared ‘in the closing strength.

Other divisions in which a re- viva] of demand was apparent in- clude the electric equipment and rubber stocks.

U. S. Steel will undoubtedly sell with- in a fraction of 130, as repeatedly stated.

The reason I recommended the above stock: except the last two and the motors, every day, was be- cau<e I felt certain that final tops of this bull market had not. yet been reached. They had to react from near 197 and they did react from near 106. I now feel reason- ably certain that the lows of the last week were the final lows and I now expect such as we had re- cenily.
