The U.P.E.I. Rugby Panthers played two games at St.F.X. University, September 14-16. UPEI’s first and second teams were both victorious.

The first team’s game was a hard fought one. The Panthers scored their first points when they were awarded a penalty try for a high tackle. Todd McInnis successfully scored the conversion for U.P.E.I. After a long sprint down the field, Roland Gallant scored the Panthers’ second try. St.F.X. scored On an unconverted try and a penalty kick to make the final score 10 - 7 for the Panthers.

In the second team’s game, Barry Quesnel and

Robert Fitzpatrick each scored a try to lead the Panthers in an 8 - 0 victory over St.F.X.
