Truck, Train Collide; P.E.I. Man Injured

MALAGASH, N.S. (CP)—A po- tato truck collided with a -salt train Tuesday and the wreckage blocked the main trunk No. 6 highway.

Truck driver Jack Hayhew, 21, of North Tryon, P.E.l, was taken to nearby Tatamagouche Hospital with shock and face cuts. His condition is not serious. He was the only person injured.

The Tignish cadets transporta- tion was arranged by Russell Perry and the squadron of 24 boys was accompanied by offi- cer Rey MacLeod. Peter Gaudet is chairman of the sponsoring committee. The hockey game was won by the Air Force by a 9-1 score.
