Every year at this time the annual seal hunt gets an inordin- | ate amount of publicity. Public- ity mainly centering around ob- jections of the methods. used in the killing of the seal pups.

These objections have been voiced in every form of mass media available. They have been written and \expounded in national magazines and in daily nespapers, -Thi have oren tale and discysgsions on radio and on tele dealing with the subject of the seruelty inherent in the annual seal hunt which takes place each

Seal pups are very cute; they are round and chubby: they are forry and playful and they have | big brown eyes. a

Human pups are likewise very cute. Often they too are round and chubby. Though not furry they are, by times, quite playful and they sometimes have big brown eyes, sometimes- they're blue or hazel or green.. -

Human pups,’ commonly called children, are different than seal pups. They need clothes; they need food and they need a place to live.

This is where the makers of movies and the writers of the articles fall short. While they
