Something Is Wrong - Low Wages

I feel concerned for the plight of the maintenance workers; I also do feel that they have justification in their strike. Who does not feel so - the administration? Let's look back to Art Laf— fin's article Oct 27 on dou— ble values. Now let's put this idea into effect. The administration says they have no way to increase the pay for the maintenance workers — it's not economically feas— ible, but let's keep in mind

It would seem the bigger the family, the more the discom— forts of a minimal income.As one worker told me 'What we are really worried about are those people who are mar- ried, who need money to sup— port a family'.
