The December meeting of the Western l-lospiial Ladies‘ Aid was held at the Nurses‘ Home the evening of the eleventh instant. There was a fair number in at- tendance. In absence o! the presi- dent, the vice-president. Mrs. ‘M. Foley occupied the chair. The min- utes of the previous meeting were read and adopted. The treasurer reported a balance oi $153.21 on hand. After the usual business routine had been completed. it was moved and seconded that the us- ual Christmas gift be given to the Reverend Sisters of the Hospital. Motion carried. There being no further business. meeting adjourn- ed. Dainty refreshments we're sewed by the Hospital staff.
