HEREAS. a Writ has been isshed. directed to or. under and by virtue ofan Act passed in the four- teenth year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria. intituled “ An Act to regulate the laying out and alt. ring of Highways." and of the Acts in amend- ment thereof, whereby we are commanded to enquire what damage or advantage will accrue to those persons who are interested in the land through which a certain new road is intended to be made, commencing at Orwell Cove Road. to the shore of Portree. agreeably to the petition of the inhabitants of Lot 57.
