Title and Lease- hold Interest of the said Colin McPhee in and to Fifty acres of lease- hold land, situate at the \Vest River, Township No. Sixty-five, in the said Island ; and I do hereby give Public Notice that I will, on Mon- day, the 9th day of December next. 1867, at 12 o’clock, noon, at the Court House in Charlottetown, in the said County, set up and sell by Public Auction the said property, or as much thereof as will satisfy the levy marked on the said writ, being £17 6s 6d, besides Sheriff’s fees and all incidental expenses.

I N pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly oft lille sland, made and passed in the twenty-seventh year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled “ An Act to consolidate and amend the seve- ral Laws imposing an Assessment on all Lands in this Colony, and for the encouragement of Education,” and also of an Act made and passed in the thirtieth year of the same reign, intituled “An Act to amend the Act relating to Land Assessment,” I do hereby publicly notify the owners or occupiers of Land in this Island, for which the annual Assessment or Assessments charged thereon by the said recited Acts, or some one or more of them, of nine shillings and two pence, lawful money of this Island, for every hu dred acres of wilderness or unim- proved Lunds contained in the Sevei ll Townships and the Islands be- longing thereto; und the sum of six shillings and eight pence, of like money, for every hundred acres of cultivated or improved Lands in the said several Townships and Islands as aforesaid; and at the rate of nine shillings and two pence, oflike money, per hundred acres for wil- derness or unimproved Town Lots and Pasture Lots in the Town and Royalty of PrinCetown; and at the rate of six shillings and eight pence, of like money, per hundred acres for cultivated or improved Town Lots and Pasture Lots in the Town and Royalty of Princetown as aforesaid; and at the rate of two shillings and six pence, of like money, for each and every Lot in Charlottetown formerly occupied as the Barrack Square, in proportion to area, on the same footing and to the same ex- tent as Town Lots in Charlottetown; and the sum of four shillings, of like money, for each and every uncultivated or unimproved Town Lot, Common Lot and Water Lot granted in the Town and Common of Chur- lottetown; and‘the sum of six shillings, of like money, for each and every uncultivated or unimproved Pasture Lot in the Royalty of Chur- lottetown; and the sum of four shillings, of like money, for each and every cultivated or improved Pasture Lot in the Royalty; and the sum of two shillings and six pence, of like money, for each and every cul- tivated or improved Town Lot and Water Lot in the said Town; and the sum of two shillings, of like money, for each and every cultivated or improved Common Lot as aforesaid; and the sum of two shillings and eight pence, of like money, for each and every uncultivated or unim- proved Town Lot and Water Lot in the Town of Georgetown; and the sum of one shilling and four pence, of like money, for each and every cultivated and improved Town Lot and Water Lot in the lust mentioned Town; and the sum of three shillings and four pence, of like money, for each and every uncultivated or unimproved Pasture Lot in the Royalty of Georgetown; and the sum of two shillings, of like money, for each and every cultivated or improved Pasture Lot in the last men- tioned Royalty; and the sum of two pence, of like money, for each and every acre of cultivated or improved Lind in the Royalty of George- town, culled Reserved Lands; and the sum of three pence, of like money, for each and every acre of such lust mentioned Lands as may be deemed uncultivated or unimproved Lands; and so in proportion for a. less quantity,-—-is payable, that unless the Assessment or Assessments for the current year imposed by the said recited Acts, or some one or more of them, be paid into my hands or the hands of any of my deputies (as required by law) on or before the Tenth day of December next I shall proceed against all such Lands as shall then be in arrcar for nob- payment of the sums charged thereon.

WHEREAS by a Resolution of the House of Assembly, passed on the 14th day of April, 1863, it was resolved that the initiation of all money votes should be with the Executive : Notice is hereby given that all applications for Money Grants for Roads, Bridges, Wharfs. &.c., and all petitions for grants in aid of any object nhutsoever, which parties may desire to submit to the Legislature at its next annual Session, are required to be sent into this Oflice on or before the First day of February, 1868.
