After deliberating 45 minutes. a coroner’s jury ruled last night that Mrs. Lotta Mae Swinamer. Windsor, N.S., died July 15 from a lacerated liver received when he car in which she was passenger was in collision with a car driven by Daniel Mac- Rae, Heatherdalc, on the Trans Canada Highway in the vicinity of Cherry Valley.

The jury made no recom- mendations in connection with the accident.

During the inquest. held in City Police Court, Dr. Alan Mc- Millan. coroner, called nine per- sons to give testimony. Beverly Swinamer. eight-year- old daughter of the late Mrs. Swinamer and ernon Abner Swinamer, said her mother and father and brother. Nine Witnesses Heard At Swinamer Inquest

Charlottetown and heard the sound of a crash. He turned around and saw a cloud of dust and smoke rising. He said that when the dust cleared he went the 400 or 500 feet back to the accident.

Another farmer. Frank Mc- Innis who was working in a nearby field at the time, said he did not see the accident but fe moments later saw a cloud of dust. He said he Went to the scene and ped Mr. Dykerman put the Nova Scotia car on its wheels. He said Mr. Dykerman shouted to call an ambulance and the police.

He said that Mr. MacRae. who was also taken to hospital by. ambulance, was suffering pains in his chest and head lacerations. He ‘ x-rays showed fractured ribs and a lung was collapsed. Dr. Putnam said that Mr. MacRae died 15 days after admission to hospital.
