Micmac Display.

Elitekey: I Fashion Things, a new large exhibition of Micmac Indian crafts from before the first contact with white men until the present, is now on View at Confederation Centre Art Gallery and Museum in Charlottetown. The exhibit includes a wide range of materials, 1 tools, and techniques used by the Micmacs in the creation, over the centuries, of their

distinctive material culture. ‘

Also on display are shell beads made from the shell—fish found along the coasts of the Maritimes, birch- bark utensils, and some excellent moosehair embroidery on birchbark.

Elitekey will remain on View at Con— federation Centre Art Gallery and Museum until Sunday, October 25.

Medical Note ~

Those students who may have a prescription claim from our new Blue Cross Medical plan should save their receipt for payment until their Blue Cross card is avai l— able and then take bOth to the Blue Cross office downtown or to the Student Union office in the Barn where payment will be arranged. Remember all claims prior to September 1 go to the

University Health and Acident, those on or after September 1 1981 go to Blue Cross.

Those students who have other coverage in a private plan and who wish a rebate should go to the Student Union office in the Barn... but do so before September 30 as that is the last date on which a rebate can be made.
