In execution and | workmanship itis as unlike modern | Christmas card as Peter Parley is unlike Mr. Ruskin. Nevertheless, the folk de- picted here have red, healthy cheeks, and there is a simple spontaneity about Horseley’s design that still pleases. It was issued in 1846.
