3—2 in the closing moments of the overtime. Mary Chamberlain and Libby Baldwin scored for us. On Sunday

we scored first and led 2—1

at the half but the home

team outplayed us in the final stanza and won 6-2. At the time of writing we have not received the league statistics but we believe that Libby is the leading scorer. The Lady Panthers travel to Monoton for a game on Friday and will hostess Acadia here at 11:00 on Stmday morning. Coach‘Barbara Mullaly is trying to get 35 minutes of GOOD play from her team instead of the 34.5 they have recently enjoyed!

We met Coach Donna Sears of. the Volleyball team on campus and she reports that she

has 18 candidates to fill the 12 positions on the team. Among the returnees are Joanne MacKinnon, Debbie Gunn and Nancy Keating while

Debby Madeloney has left basketball for the volleyball court. Five of our players were on the PEI Canada Games Team. The first game here will be against Acadia on
