Graded egg shipments in carlots or less were quoted at 34 cents a dozen for A-large, 28 for A-med- ium, 26 for A-pullets, 23 1-2 to 25 1-2 for grade B and 23 1-2 for C.

Butter was quoted at 28 3-4 to 27 I-4 cents per pound for carlots or less of No. I, while lots to re- tailers were 28 for solids and 28 l-2 for prints.

In January, 1895, he was made acting agent at Amherst and from there was transferred to Oxford Jct. two years later, being appointed agent the following vcar in Exptember, 1099. He went back to Amherst as agent, which posit- ion he occupied until August 22nd, 1913, when he was appointed supt. at Newcastle, N.B. From Newcas- tle he went to Campbelltoii, N.B., as supt. on September ist, 1916, and from there to New Glasgow. NS. on April 24th, 1920. From New Glasgow he went back to Campbellton on November 2nd. i923. and from Campbellton was transferred to Halifax us supt. on February 1st, 1927. He was born at Bedford, N.S.

The new superintendent of the Halifax Division, W. E. Robinson. was born at North Sydney, N. S.. and first entered railway service as station agent at Ingramport, N.S.. on January 10th. 1005. The follow- ing year he transferred to the position of freight clerk at Bridge- water, N. S.. being subsequently tic- ket agent. train despatcher. freight agent and train despatchcr at Bridgewater. During this period, , for a short time he acted as stat- ‘ ion agent at Port Wade. NS. Sev- ering his connections with the rail- way servlce in I911 when he went to Western Canadmhe returned to the east and recntered railway ser- vice as train despatcher at Bridge- water on August i, 1913. and was appointed successively chief des- patcher and assistant superintend- slit. On February 1. 1927. he was transferred to Moncton as assist- ant superintendent and two years later to Campbellton in the same capacity. being advanced fc super- intendent on October 1, 1929. On September i. i932. he was trans- ferred to the position of superin- tendent of the Moncton Division. H. V. Musgrave, who succeeds W. E. Robinson as silperiiiteiitlent of the Moncton Division.
