Gross earnings from operations totalled $10i,945.202. an increase of 595366.711. Operating expense: in- creased $6,656,656 at $65,754,182 largely due to higher prices ior materials, the report slates.

The ‘balance sheet shows current assets at $51,424,606. down 018114- 089, and current liabilities at Ml,- mnlas, up 86.758752, leaving work- ing capital of 810.1531 down S8,- 069.781.

The report of thee directors to shareholders says that the pro- gram for expansion ol electrical and telephone service should be completed by the end oi 1952.
