Death of Mrs. Merit Geudet. Sr.

--The deeth oeeurred Tuesday evening in the Prince County Hospital of Mrs. Mark Gaudet Sr. of Summer-side at the age of 74 years. Mrs. Gsudet.had been'e patient in the hospital for the past two weeks and although her condltlon was considered serious. death came suddenly following a day in which she had seemed much improved.

She was the former Madeline Poirier of St. Nicholas and had resided in Summerslde all her married life. Surviving 'ere one daughter. Mrs. Sylvere Gallant of Fitchburg. Mum. and two sons. Mark and Hillary of Summerside. Mrs. Gallant had recently visited at her home and had, only re- turned to Fitchburg last Saturday. after her mother had showed con- siderable improvement in her condition. Mrs. Gaudet was held in liigh esteem by all who knew her. '
