Dear Fellow Students,

On behalf of your exec— utive and council I would like to express our apprecia— tion for your voting support, and our hopes that your sup- port will be with us for the duration of our term in of— fice. Aye, tis with a wee bit of sadness and a wee bit of joy' that I write this note to the old S.U. and to the new S.U.

I guess whether we like it or not it is time to say good—bye to a fare group of hard workin',congenia1 and all round good lads. To be sure they have carried their responsibilities with a great deal of seriousness, and I must say at times with unlimited capacities of patience and endurance..Aye at times they've been accused of doing the wrong things, and of not doing things the way they should 'ave been done, but they accepted it graciously‘ and perservered.

Aye, and to their credit is the congenial atmosphere that has been created with Student Services. Tis with pleasure, and joy we have found that

these two groups were able to_ work together, in better assisting the general student body. Sure we had good times and bad, but all productive.

Sure I'll not be supposin that their task was an easy one with so many people and so many ideas, and necessarily so a group such as this needs a good leader. I thinks it only fittin' to place credit where credit is due, to Mr. Pat Duffy a diligent, cool, and persistent lad. YOu brought the ship safely and successfully to port, congratulations.

And to the rest of ye all, you've been instrumental in the successful endeavours that have evolved. A good lot ye all are. -,,

IN THE NEW student government and executive responsibility.

My congratulations to you all in your success and wishes for lots of good things to come in 73—74. It's like changing course in mid—stream, but I'm sure with a wee bit of wisdom and guidance from those other lads, you'll get along

splendidly. I look forward, with excitement, to working

with the new executive, and I am happy to offer my services where ever you see fit. In closing I wish to give a wee bit of advice to the new executive and that is, it is good for the soul to work hard as well as play hard, and I hope you will be able to look back on 73-74, and say it was a productive as well as a happy term in office.
