[Title not published 1987-2001]
La Petite Souvenance was a bi-annual magazine first published by the Société historique acadienne de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard (Acadian Historical Society of Prince Edward Island), founded in 1955 by the Association des instituteurs et institutrices acadiens de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard (Association of Prince Edward Island Teachers).
Its publication ran from 1979-1986 and was dedicated to discovering and documenting the history of the Acadians community on Prince Edward Island. It presented documents related to genealogy, folklore, and history in a variety of formats including letters, testaments, personal journals, and articles.
In 1984, a special edition was released commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Acadian flag.
Publication of La Petite Souvenance was revived from 2002-2009 by the Comité historique Soeur-Antoinette-DesRoches (Sister Antoinette DesRoches Historical Committee). The mission of the revived publication was, "the promotion, research and dissemination of Acadian history, as well as the protection of Acadian heritage."
