Between 1900 and 1962 – the period currently covered by Island Newspapers – there were 17 Provincial General Elections held on Prince Edward Island. Here are the front pages of The Guardian from the day after each election where the headlines – and, in early years, detailed district-by-district results – tell the story. For each front page the colour of the heading – red for Liberal, blue for Progressive Conservative – indicates the winner.
